Inside the Boho Manor Rose Garden High Tea with Korbel Champagne

Sparkling Korbel champagne, finger sandwiches, and 250 heritage roses — a slow afternoon at Boho Manor's historic rose garden.

There are vineyards you taste at, and there are gardens you linger in. The Boho Manor rose garden is both. ## A garden out of a novel Tucked behind the estate in Sonoma, the Boho Manor rose garden holds more than 250 heritage varieties — climbers spilling over arbors, antique tea roses, and fragrant David Austins planted in the original Victorian beds. It is the kind of place where you instinctively lower your voice. Our high tea is set under the arbor: linen, tiered trays of cucumber sandwiches, scones with Sonoma cream, lavender shortbread, and a chilled flute of Korbel champagne to start. ## What the afternoon looks like - A welcome pour in the garden - Three-tiered tea service with savories, scones, and pastries - A guided walk through the heritage rose beds - A visit to see how California's oldest continuously operating sparkling house still does things by hand ## When to go Peak bloom runs late May through early July, with a strong second flush in September. Mornings are quiet and cool; late afternoons catch the golden light through the Sonoma oaks on the property. ## How to do it We run this as a small-group experience with round-trip transport from Healdsburg, Guerneville, and Santa Rosa. Hats encouraged.
